“Creepshow”

Ohmagawd! I love this movie! I love watching it every October. I’ve stated somewhere before, but the best kind of horror films are the anthology ones. “Creepshow” pretty much does it for me. But, what makes this extra special than all the rest of them, is that each tiny vignette of horror is directed by George A. Romeo, and written by Stephen King. These guys know how to have fun when it comes to horror. Romeo, being the godfather of the modern zombie decides to explore different methods of horror this time around and each story is creepier, sometimes funnier, and way more terrifying than the next.

Five tales of terror, which is my favorite? Gosh, I don’t know that’s a tricky one, because they’re all so fucking GOOD. Best story goes to the Leslie Neilsen one, best concept goes to the cockroach story, and for the fuck of it, the evil monkey tale. Oh and you can’t go wrong with King himself starring in one about a hick with a particular green finger. AAHHH!!! I seriously love this movie so much, never gets old, never tiresome, it’s just pure, bonkers, fun!

Directed by: George A. Romeo

Written by: Stephen King
